To better align with the nation’s “Belt and Road” initiative, organizations from Guizhou’s surveying and design industry have joined forces to venture into India for development. At the same time, to help GIIC overcome the challenge of needing substantial technical support for the Anbang project it has already won, on March 1, 2016, the Guizhou Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development organized a seminar on the expansion of outstanding enterprises from Guizhou’s surveying and design sector into India. The meeting was held in our company’s conference room on the 17th floor.

The seminar was chaired by Li Xiaoyun, Secretary-General of the Guizhou Provincial Engineering Exploration Association, and attended by Zhang Peng, Director of the Guizhou Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. Zhang Lin, Chairman of our company, briefed the attending leaders on the projects and corporate status of Guizhou Maritime Silk Road International Investment Co., Ltd. (referred to as GIIC). At the meeting, Director Zhang highly praised GIIC’s achievements to date. After analyzing the current situation facing the industry, he encouraged the participating companies to take advantage of the GIIC Andhra Pradesh project as an opportunity to actively expand overseas and enter the Indian market. While diligently implementing existing projects, they should also identify new business opportunities to facilitate the transfer of Guizhou Province’s excess production capacity. All participating companies expressed their willingness to leverage their respective strengths and support the GIIC Andhra Pradesh project. The meeting recommended that GIIC, building on its existing platform, strengthen exchanges and cooperation with various enterprises, formulate relevant cooperation guidelines, and propose specific collaboration models—such as strategic partnerships or equity investments—to achieve deepened cooperation with companies that express interest.
