Our company's senior leaders are attending the 7th International Summit on Infrastructure Investment and Construction.

To better participate in the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, gain a deeper understanding of and keep track of more information on international economic cooperation projects, and broaden enterprises’ perspectives and approaches to developing overseas markets, 6 Moon 2 Date to 6 Moon 3 day , Our company’s Deputy General Manager Guan Xiaoqing and her delegation attended the “7th International Summit Forum on Infrastructure Investment and Construction” held in Macao.

This summit forum has been approved by the Ministry of Commerce and the Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region, and is jointly organized by the China Foreign Contractors Association and the Investment Promotion Agency of the Macao Special Administrative Region. At the opening ceremony of the forum, Mr. Lin Yifu, former Senior Vice President and Chief Economist of the World Bank, delivered a keynote speech. Experts and scholars from governments, financial institutions, enterprises, and other professional organizations shared their insights and perspectives on such topics as the future development prospects of industry-finance cooperation, how to fully leverage and further develop existing industry-finance cooperation models, tools, and platforms, as well as the unique advantages and risks of industry-finance cooperation compared to traditional business cooperation models.

The keynote forum of this conference is titled “Present Status and Future Prospects: Exploring New Models and Opportunities for Industry-Finance Cooperation.” It highlighted that industry-finance cooperation is playing an increasingly important role in promoting the international financing, implementation, and successful realization of infrastructure projects, and that international infrastructure cooperation is now poised to seize new development opportunities. Under this summit, ten parallel forums were held, among which the forums titled “Innovations in International Infrastructure Financing and Transformation of Business Models under the Belt and Road Initiative” and “Project Promotion and Matchmaking Meeting for Infrastructure and Capacity Cooperation along the Belt and Road Routes” are closely related to our company’s overseas development strategy. During the forums, participants generally agreed that countries along the Belt and Road exhibit significant disparities in economic development levels, and most of these countries face common challenges such as high government debt and insufficient funding for construction—particularly evident in long-term infrastructure projects like railways, highways, airports, and ports, where momentum for advancement remains notably weak. Under the new circumstances, it has become imperative for engineering and construction enterprises to transform their business models, adjust their investment strategies, and strengthen cooperation with financial institutions, thereby exploring new directions and innovative models for the financing and development of infrastructure cooperation projects.

During this forum, our company’s representatives introduced our company’s development status to other attendees and representatives from participating enterprises, and presented them with our company’s promotional brochures. We also actively explored the feasibility of potential collaborations. (Text) / Figure   Zhang Jiyue)
