Recently, design representatives from our company’s Bridge Design Institute attended the BIM Technology Application Seminar and Exchange Meeting hosted by Bentley in Beijing. At the event, Mr. Chris Barron, CCO (Chief Communications Officer) of Bentley, and Mr. Liu Desheng, President of the North Asia Region, jointly presented our company’s design for the Pingluo Expressway Pingtang Bridge with the “2016 Be Innovation Award” Finalist Award.
At the BIM Technology Application Seminar and Exchange Conference, Mr. Greg Bentley, CEO of Bentley Systems, delivered a keynote speech titled “Moving Toward Digitalization,” showcasing the seamless integration of new BIM technologies with design project practices. He also highlighted global industry trends and explained how today’s advancements in BIM technology are making design innovation possible. Representatives from our company also participated in the sub-session on BIM technology applications in the railway and highway transportation sectors, gaining valuable insights into how the global railway and highway transportation industries are currently leveraging BIM technology throughout the entire lifecycle of engineering projects—supporting decision-making at every stage, from conceptual design and detailed design to construction execution, project delivery, and project operations, for designers, contractors, and owners alike.
