At the meeting, the General Engineering Office conveyed the key points of Governor Sun Zhigang’s speech at the provincial video and teleconference on mobilizing and deploying the “Safety Production Month” and “Ten Thousand-Mile Journey for Safety Production” campaigns, as well as the key points of Mayor Liu Wenxin’s speech at the Guiyang City video and teleconference on the 2017 “Safety Production Month” and “Grassroots Safety Production Campaign.” The office also read out the implementation plan for the 2017 “Safety Production Month” series of activities issued by the joint-stock company.
General Manager Ma made comprehensive arrangements and deployments for this year’s “Safety Production Month” campaign and delivered an important speech. General Manager Ma emphasized that all departments and subsidiaries should, based on their own specific circumstances, closely align with the requirements of national, provincial, and municipal activities, and carry out safety production inspections, hazard identification, safety education, and publicity efforts in a diverse and engaging manner. They must firmly uphold the red line that development must never come at the expense of safety. In particular, departments with extensive field operations and numerous external contractor teams must pay meticulous attention to safety production management and rigorously ensure that departmental supervisory responsibilities are effectively implemented. All departments must earnestly fulfill their primary responsibility for enterprise safety production, ensuring that the company’s safety production management continues to improve.
