The 2nd Staff Sports Meet of the Guizhou Provincial Department of Transport concluded successfully.

After 12 days of intense competition, the second Employees’ Games of the Guizhou Provincial Department of Transport recently came to a successful conclusion at the Guiyang Citizens’ Fitness Center.

This year’s Games featured a total of eight competitive events, including basketball, table tennis, badminton, tennis, futsal, volleyball, tug-of-war, and track and field. A total of 35 participating organizations sent 42 teams, with nearly 2,000 athlete appearances. Our company’s employees took part in this year’s Games in events such as badminton, volleyball, futsal, swimming, and tennis. Ultimately, our team achieved the following results: second place in the men’s team event of the badminton competition, third place in the volleyball competition, and fifth place in the women’s team event of the badminton competition. Lu Xiaojing (men’s team event in badminton) was awarded the Outstanding Athlete Prize; Fang Siru placed second in the women’s Group B 50-meter breaststroke event in swimming; Yu Junyong placed fourth in the men’s Group A 50-meter breaststroke event and seventh in the men’s Group A 50-meter freestyle event in swimming; and Yang Bo placed sixth in the men’s Group B 50-meter breaststroke event in swimming. Deng Bo Zhang Shun placed sixth in the men’s Group B 50-meter freestyle swimming event, and Zhang Shun also placed eighth in the men’s Group B 50-meter breaststroke swimming event. The company was awarded the Outstanding Organization Award at the Second Employees’ Games of the Guizhou Provincial Transportation System.
