Yang Jian, Chief Engineer of the company, attended the meeting and delivered a welcoming speech. Du Yan, Vice President of the company and General Manager of the Science and Technology Division, also attended the meeting, along with relevant leaders from the Highway Branch of the China Association for Standardization of Construction Engineering, members of the specification review expert panel, and translators. 20 Others attended the meeting.

The English version of the “Technical Specification for High-Performance Concrete Made with Mechanically Produced Sand for Highway Engineering” is the first English-language standard issued by the Highway Branch of the China Engineering Construction Standardization Association, and also the first English-language standard in which our company has participated. This specification was jointly edited by Guizhou University and our company, with participation from institutions including Hongxin Chuanda Company, China Communications Construction Company Highway Planning and Design Institute, Guizhou Provincial Investment & Development High-Tech Co., Ltd., and Leiji Environmental Protection High-Tech Co., Ltd.

The expert panel attending the meeting concluded that compiling an English-language version of the "Technical Specifications for High-Performance Concrete Made with Mechanically Produced Sand for Highway Construction" is highly necessary and timely, as it will help promote China's high-performance concrete technology using mechanically produced sand and facilitate its application in international markets. The compilation outline demonstrates clear guiding principles, comprehensive content, and a well-defined division of labor, making the overall plan highly feasible. It is recommended to refine the list of specialized terminology, further study and clarify the principles for selecting and using terms, and, above all, strengthen alignment with relevant industry standards in the English version. We hope that the compilation team will continue to elevate their perspective, unify their thinking, and carefully scrutinize every word and phrase, striving to produce a high-quality English-language technical specification that will contribute significantly to the implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative and the development of a transportation powerhouse.
