In accordance with the work arrangements of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government, the Guizhou Provincial Department of Transport has taken the lead in conducting research and drafting studies on topics including the strategy for building a transportation powerhouse in Guizhou Province, trends and demands in transportation development, a system of goals and indicators, the passenger transport system, and the freight transport system. Preliminary research findings have already been achieved.
2019 Year 11 Moon 25 day ~26 On [date], the review meeting for the research project on promoting the development of a transportation powerhouse in Guizhou Province was held in Guiyang City. Guizhou Provincial Department of Transport, Guizhou Provincial Department of Transport ( Guizhou Province Transportation Preparedness Office ) Chief Planner Dong Liang Attending and chairing the meeting were representatives from the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Provincial Department of Finance, the Provincial Department of Natural Resources, the Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment, the Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Construction, the Provincial Department of Commerce, the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the Provincial Energy Administration, the Provincial Forestry Bureau, the Provincial Railway Construction Office, the Provincial Postal Administration, the Guizhou Civil Aviation Safety Regulatory Authority, the Guizhou Air Traffic Control Branch, and the Provincial Department of Transport. The Research Institute of Planning of the Ministry of Transport, the Comprehensive Transportation Research Institute of the National Development and Reform Commission, the Highway Scientific Research Institute of the Ministry of Transport, and our company—hereinafter referred to as the “Research Team”—as the implementing agencies, provided a detailed report on the research findings.
At the meeting, the expert review panel found that the research materials submitted by the project team were complete, the deliverables were comprehensive, and the depth of the work fully met the technical requirements specified in the contract. The panel unanimously approved the completion of the project review and proceeded to discuss and propose revision suggestions. Currently, the project team is revising and refining its research findings based on the panel’s feedback.
