On March 30, 2021, the acceptance meeting for the “2020 High-Tech Zone Enterprise Quality Improvement Project,” organized by the Office for Deepening Quality-Driven Development of the Guiyang National High-Tech Zone, concluded successfully. Among many outstanding enterprises, our company stood out and was awarded the First Prize for Enterprises Meeting Standards.

This initiative, led by the government and aimed at addressing the challenges faced by enterprises in areas such as product quality, service quality, and management quality, is designed to implement the spirit of relevant documents issued by the Provincial People’s Government and the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government. It is a quality-enhancement program tailored to meet the specific needs of individual enterprises. First launched in 2019 by the Guiyang National High-tech Zone, this initiative broke new ground for similar projects within the province. The report titled “The Guiyang National High-tech Zone Management Committee Promotes Regional Quality Improvement through Quality Innovation” was recognized as a typical case of quality development in Guizhou Province for 2019, setting a benchmark for quality improvement across the province.

Last August, the High-Tech Zone deepened its efforts to strengthen quality. Following the principles of “enterprise voluntariness, professional guidance, and continuous improvement,” we launched a call for quality improvement projects for 2020 among enterprises across the district, receiving a total of 10 project proposals submitted by 9 enterprises within the district.

Our company’s project, “Enhancing Quality Management in the Design Process through ‘Knowledge + Project Collaboration,’” was officially launched last November. Throughout the project, “requirements management” has been integrated as a continuous thread, and the project has been planned, implemented, verified, and summarized following the PDCA cycle. With guidance from experts and the joint efforts of all project team members, we have achieved the expected results. At the acceptance meeting, the project received high praise from both the review experts and senior leaders, earning the first prize for compliant enterprises with the highest score.

This event has played a highly positive role in the company’s quality management efforts. Against the backdrop of China’s high-quality economic development, continuous improvement in the company’s quality management maturity through quality enhancement initiatives will leverage the achievements gained from these efforts to further boost the enterprise’s economic benefits. Ultimately, this will create a virtuous cycle of quality improvement within the company, driving it steadily upward.
