To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and commemorate the 102nd anniversary of the May Fourth Movement, and to enhance employees’ physical health and promote the concept of green, low-carbon living, the company has designated May as the “Low-Carbon Travel—Exploration and Design Made Better Because of You” themed activity month. On May 14, by the shores of Bailu Lake, the company organized one of the series of events for this themed activity month. Youthful Exploration & Enjoyable Hiking.
As soon as the event was announced, it received an enthusiastic response from a large number of employees, with about 80 employees participating on-site. Although the afternoon sun was blazing, every participant remained energetic and full of spirit, refusing to slow down their pace despite the heat. During the hike, everyone exchanged words and encouraged one another; for a moment, the figures of the Jia Kan team became a unique and striking sight along the banks of Bailu Lake in May.
After completing the approximately 5-kilometer hike, the employees participating in the team competition eagerly prepared themselves and enthusiastically took part in the challenge course. Fun-filled activities such as “Fitness Expert,” “You Guess What I’m Thinking,” and “Survey & Design Quiz” brought bursts of laughter throughout the venue. Every team member fully immersed themselves in the challenges, creating an incredibly lively and enthusiastic atmosphere. In the end, Team One from the Surveying Division, Team Two from the Surveying Division, and Team Three from the Transportation Division emerged as the winners of this challenge competition.
After the event concluded, employees remarked that participating in this activity not only helped them stay fit and relieve stress but also strengthened their camaraderie as they collaborated with colleagues to tackle the challenges together. On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party, the 5-kilometer hike enabled everyone to experience the revolutionary spirit of the early Communist Party members in China—their unwavering determination to overcome hardships. Moving forward, the “Low-Carbon Travel: Designing a Better Future Because of You” themed month will continue to roll out a series of engaging activities, and we look forward to the active participation of all our employees.
