The third executive council meeting of the 9th Council of the Guizhou Provincial Engineering Investigation and Design Association was successfully held at Kan She Co., Ltd.

On March 7, 2023, the third executive council meeting of the 9th Council of the Guizhou Provincial Engineering Investigation and Design Association was held in Conference Room 1703 on the 17th floor of Kan She Co., Ltd. Zhou Hongwen, Director of the Guizhou Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, Bi Yuehong, Chairman of the Guizhou Provincial Engineering Investigation and Design Association, and more than 20 executive council members and council representatives attended the meeting.

The meeting reviewed the Guizhou Provincial Engineering Survey and Design Association’s 2022 Work Report, 2022 Financial Revenue and Expenditure Report, the Association’s Membership Fee Management Regulations, and the status of the “Southwest Regional Forum on High-Quality Development of the Survey and Design Industry.” It also heard reports on changes in the Association’s directors, standing directors, and vice-chairpersons; additions to and automatic removals from the membership; as well as matters related to convening the fourth meeting of the Association’s 9th Council.

The meeting reviewed and approved the appointment of General Manager Zhang Xiaohang as a standing director and vice-chairman of the 9th Council. In his address, General Manager Zhang Xiaohang pointed out that, as we enter a new era and embark on a new journey, the engineering surveying and design industry in the province is facing both new challenges and new opportunities. Kan She Co., Ltd. is eager to join hands with all of you, continue to work under the leadership of the Provincial Engineering Surveying and Design Association, and, guided by the fundamental principles of mutual respect and win-win cooperation, share resources and expertise, jointly pursue development, and collectively contribute to the advancement of Guizhou’s surveying and design sector and to the province’s economic takeoff.

In his concluding remarks, Director Zhou Hongwen pointed out that this year marks the inaugural year for fully implementing the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. He expressed hope that the Provincial Engineering Investigation and Design Association would lead its member units in serving the new development paradigm and supporting the province’s efforts to focus on “four new” initiatives and promote “four modernizations,” thereby making new contributions to driving high-quality economic and social development across the province.
