On May 27, the 4th Location Services Forum and High-Level Dialogue were held with great success during the 2023 China International Big Data Industry Expo (referred to as "Big Data Expo"). The forum was jointly hosted by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Cyberspace Administration of China, and the People's Government of Guizhou Province. It was co-organized by the Chinese Society for Surveying and Mapping, the Chinese Association for Remote Sensing Applications, the China Communications Industry Association, as well as the Department of Natural Resources, the Department of Transportation, the Department of Culture and Tourism, and the Big Data Development Administration of Guizhou Province. Kan She Co., Ltd. served as one of the co-organizers and provided support for the event.

Vice Governor Yang Tongguang of the Guizhou Provincial People's Government, Deputy Director Liu Lihua of the Economic Committee of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and Chairman Song Chaozhi of the China Society for Surveying and Mapping delivered remarks at the forum. More than 200 experts and scholars from across the country gathered to share the latest achievements in the development of precise location services. Yang Jian, Chief Engineer of Kan She Co., Ltd., Du Yan, General Manager of the Smart Industry Division, and relevant personnel attended the meeting.

Vice Governor Yang Tongguang Delivers a Speech

Academicians Li Deren, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering; Yin Haobo, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences; Chen Jun, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering; and Liu Xianlin, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, delivered keynote speeches. Du Yan, General Manager of the Smart Industry Division of Kan She Co., Ltd., delivered a keynote speech titled “Construction of a Smart Highway System Based on User Objectives and Considerations on the Application of Beidou Technology.” The speech elaborated on the development status of smart highway construction, the establishment of a smart highway system based on user objectives, and the application of Beidou technology in smart highways. It also identified common key technical issues related to the direction of smart highway development, system architecture, construction content, and operational models, and proposed strengthening government guidance while encouraging enterprises to take the lead in collaborative research efforts within the industry, emphasizing value-driven and efficiency-oriented construction. The presentation received unanimous praise from the attendees.

Keynote Speech by Du Yan, General Manager of the Smart Industry Division

As the world’s third country to independently develop a global satellite navigation system, location-based services centered on BeiDou have become core elements and a common foundation for new-generation information technologies—including big data, cloud computing, mobile internet, the internet, and intelligent technologies—as well as the smart information industry. These services are now integrated into infrastructure development across sectors such as power, natural resources, agriculture, telecommunications, and transportation. This forum focuses on “AI in Location Services,” delving deeply into the critical role that precise positioning—spanning areas like intelligent driving, smart mobility, and the industrialization of BeiDou—plays in the field of artificial intelligence.

By co-organizing this conference, Kanshe Shares has strengthened cross-sectoral exchanges with various social groups, effectively enhanced its brand awareness, and provided new insights for Kanshe Shares’ technological innovation, business upgrading, and high-quality development.
