From September 25 to 27, the Badminton Tournament of the 4th Guizhou Provincial Transportation System Workers’ Games—“The Chinese Dream: Beauty of Labor—Strong Nation, My Contribution; Building Dreams in Transportation”—organized by the Guizhou Provincial Department of Transport and hosted by the Guizhou Provincial Transportation Trade Union Committee and the Guizhou Provincial Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement and Supervision Bureau for Transportation, was enthusiastically held at the Blue Whale Sports Center in Guanshanhu District, Guiyang City. A total of over 200 employees from 19 representative teams across the province’s transportation system participated in the tournament.

The competition featured six events: men’s team, women’s team, men’s singles (age 40 and above), men’s singles (under 40), women’s singles (age 40 and above), and women’s singles (under 40). The company’s badminton team sent a total of 14 male and female athletes to compete in four of these events. Thanks to the players’ tenacious efforts, the men’s team delivered an outstanding performance and maintained a steady mindset throughout the competition, defeating other strong opponents and successfully retaining its championship title in this event.

Peng Jiao, Party Secretary of the company and Chairman of the Trade Union, personally attended the competition venue to cheer on and encourage the participating team members. Secretary Peng stated that this victory is not merely a triumph for the badminton team—it is also a testament to the company’s cohesion and team spirit.
