On December 13, the “Stage Competition” for Party Organization Secretaries in Emerging Fields of Guiyang and Guian—hosted by the Organization Department of the Guiyang Municipal Committee and co-organized by the Organization Department of the High-tech Zone—was held in Conference Room 1704 of our company. Attending the event were leaders including Long Zhanghuai, Member of the Municipal Party Committee and Director of the Municipal Organization Department; Luo Yang, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the High-tech Zone and Secretary of the Guanshanhu District Party Committee; Qiu Wei, Executive Deputy Director of the Guiyang Municipal Organization Department; and approximately 130 participants from Guiyang City and the Guian New Area.

In this arena competition, a total of 15 secretaries of Party organizations from emerging sectors—nominated by various districts (cities and counties) of Guiyang City, Guian New Area, Guiyang High-tech Zone, Guiyang Comprehensive Bonded Zone, and Guizhou Shuanglong Aviation Port Economic Zone—participated. Each secretary took to the stage in turn, using vivid language and compelling real-life examples to summarize their practical and innovative approaches to implementing the “Five Ones” initiative, thereby showcasing the ideas, measures, and achievements of Party organizations and members in promoting the healthy development of emerging sectors.

“We have always adhered to using Party building to guide enterprise development, exploring and promoting Party-building initiatives centered on the ‘Five Ones’ action—leading with a strong sense of purpose, pioneering in pathfinding and bridge-building. We’ve established a ‘Secretary’s Project’ technical攻关 team, guiding Party member employees to continuously break new records in provincial bridge design…” On the stage, Chen Yinggao, Secretary of the Bridge Branch Party Committee, vividly showcased the company’s remarkable achievements in bridge design under the guidance of Party building in just six minutes, demonstrating the spirit and prowess of the surveying and design professionals to the attending leaders and audience. Ultimately, after on-site scoring by a “judging panel” composed of 19 leading officials from the municipal Party committee’s working committees for non-public and social organizations, Chen Yinggao, representing the High-tech Zone, was awarded second prize in the competition.

In the future, the Party Committee of the company will continue to take the “Five Ones” initiative as its guiding principle and, centered on the Party-building approach of “Pioneering in Surveying and Design—A Bright Future for Guizhou,” lead grassroots Party branches and the vast number of Party members, cadres, and employees to drive high-quality enterprise development through high-quality Party building, thereby achieving even greater successes and making new contributions to serving local economic development.
