According to the 2016 work plan of the National Highway Engineering Geological Science and Technology Information Network (hereinafter referred to as the “Network”), the technical exchange meeting was held at our company on September 22. The theme of this meeting was “Geological Exploration and Disaster Prevention Technologies for Expressways in Karst Regions.”

Mr. Long Wanxue, Deputy General Manager of our company, presided over the opening ceremony of the conference. More than 20 relevant organizations from across the country and over 80 representatives attended the meeting. Mr. Kang Hourong, Director of the Science and Education Division of the Guizhou Provincial Department of Transport; Mr. Zhang Lin, Chairman of our company; Mr. Jia Long, Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Chairman; and Mr. Ma Pingjun, Deputy General Manager and Chief Engineer, all attended the conference.

At this exchange meeting, 13 participating experts delivered compelling academic presentations on topics including geological exploration for highway engineering and new technologies for disaster prevention and control. The academic reports were rich in content and delved deeply into the hot and challenging issues currently attracting attention in the field of highway engineering geology, reflecting the latest technological trends and advancements in this field. The conference also recognized 18 colleagues across the network who have achieved remarkable work results and made outstanding contributions, as well as 15 high-quality academic papers demonstrating exceptional scholarly standards.

Our company’s Technology Business Division, Guizhou Hongxin Chuanda Engineering Testing & Inspection Co., Ltd., and Guizhou Hongxinda High-Tech Co., Ltd. also showcased and exchanged a number of technological achievements developed by them at the conference.
