The three bridges designed by our company have won the 2016 Highway Transportation Outstanding Design Award. Recently, the China Highway Survey and Design Association announced the results of the 2016 Highway Transportation Outstanding Survey and Outstanding Design Awards. Among them, three bridges designed by our company’s Bridge Division each received one second-place award and two third-place awards. The awarded projects are the Longjing River Supermajor Bridge (short-tower cable-stayed bridge), the Dimu River Supermajor Bridge (suspension bridge), and the Mupeng Bridge (box-girder arch bridge).
1. The Longjing River Super Bridge was awarded the Second Prize of the 2016 Highway Transportation Outstanding Design Award. Located on the Guizhou section—between Zhijin and Nayong—of the Xiamen-Chengdu Expressway, the Longjing River Bridge has a main span arrangement of 86+160+86 meters. 
The radius of the horizontal curve at the centerline of the box girder is 852.75 meters. The bridge adopts a twin-tower single-cable-plane system with towers, piers, and girders rigidly connected. It is currently the only curved short-tower cable-stayed bridge in China, designed to highway standards for four lanes in each direction, with a design speed of 80 km/h.
2. The Dimumu River Super Bridge was awarded the Third Prize of the 2016 Highway Transportation Outstanding Design Award. Located on the Bijie-Duge (Guizhou-Yunnan border) section of the Hangrui Expressway, the Dimumu River Super Bridge features a 538-meter single-span steel truss suspension bridge as its main structure. 
3. The Mupengte Bridge has been awarded the Third Prize of the 2016 Highway Transportation Outstanding Design Award. Located on the Sinan to Jianhe Expressway in Guizhou Province, the Mupengte Bridge features a 165-meter top-bearing reinforced concrete arch bridge as its main span—a cantilever cast-in-place box-girder arch bridge, which is the first of its kind in our province. The design load adopted is Highway—Class I, and the designed vehicle speed is 80 km/h.
