Students from the School of Transportation Engineering at Guizhou University of Technology conducted a familiarization internship at the company.

On the morning of June 28, 2017, 154 students from the Class of 2016 majoring in Transportation Engineering at Guizhou University of Technology visited the company for an introductory internship.

First, the students visited the company’s digital exhibition hall. They showed great enthusiasm and curiosity about the content displayed in the hall, taking photos and asking questions continuously throughout the tour. Afterwards, the students headed to the 17th-floor conference room to attend a lecture. The lecture was chaired by Ma Pingjun, Deputy General Manager and Chief Engineer of the company. Wang Mingshan, Deputy Chief Engineer and Director of the Planning & Consulting Institute, gave a presentation to the students on the development plan for expressways in Guizhou Province. Sun Huiren, Deputy Chief Engineer and Deputy Director of the Tunnel and Transportation Engineering Design Institute, then provided an explanation from the perspective of transportation engineering. At the end of the half-day visit, all the student participants expressed that they had gained valuable insights and found the experience highly rewarding.

In the future, the company will continue to leverage its roles as a science and education base in Guizhou Province and a talent pool for transportation infrastructure development. It will actively fulfill its social responsibilities, maintain close collaborations with top universities, and effectively integrate industry, academia, and research.
