The “Software Promotion and Application Project for the Highway Geological Hazard Monitoring and Forecasting System in Western Regions” has successfully passed the acceptance inspection by the Ministry of Transport.


2017 Year 12 Moon 14 On [date], entrusted by the Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Transport, the Transportation Science and Technology Management Center of the China Academy of Transportation Sciences hosted in Guiyang the acceptance review of the Ministry of Transport’s science and technology achievement promotion project, “Software Application and Promotion of the Highway Geological Hazard Monitoring and Forecasting System for Western Regions.” After listening to the project team’s report and reviewing the relevant technical documents, the expert panel conducted a series of inquiries and discussions and unanimously agreed that the project had passed the acceptance test. Thus, this project has completed all its research tasks and comes to a successful conclusion!

The “Software Promotion and Application Project for Highway Geological Hazard Monitoring and Forecasting System in Western China” is undertaken by our company, with joint participation from the Research Institute of the Ministry of Transport, Guizhou Expressway Group Co., Ltd., and Hunan University of Science and Technology. Through the promotion and application of this project and its technological demonstration, and taking into account the specific characteristics of highway maintenance and management in Guizhou, the system software has been upgraded to the “Guizhou Province Subgrade Management and Highway Geological Hazard Monitoring System.” Furthermore, key technologies related to the identification and management of critical information, monitoring and hazard assessment of various types of geological hazards, as well as geological hazard prediction and forecasting methods and models, have been further refined, thereby enhancing the reliability and practicality of the project’s outcomes.

The project has been promoted and applied in highway projects such as the YuKai, KaiYang, and BiDu Expressways in Guizhou Province, ensuring the safety of expressway construction and operation.
