At 3 p.m. on April 8, 2018, Zhang Lin, Chairman of our company, Qi Guirong, General Manager, Guan Xiaoqing, Deputy General Manager, along with leaders from the Guizhou Provincial Department of Commerce and the Provincial Financial Office, and representatives from relevant Guizhou enterprises, held a meeting in our company’s 17th-floor conference room with a delegation led by the Nepalese Ambassador to China, who was visiting our company.
On April 8, 2018, Lila Mani Baudel, the Nepalese Ambassador to China, and Binod Prasad Acharya, the Nepalese Economic Counselor in China, arrived in Guiyang to conduct a two-day inspection visit to relevant enterprises in Guizhou Province. As the leading force in transportation infrastructure construction in Guizhou Province, our company was entrusted with the responsibility of hosting this delegation of ambassadors.
Guan Xiaoqing, Deputy General Manager of our company, introduced the company’s development history and the achievements made in Guizhou’s transportation infrastructure to the Nepalese Ambassador to China and his delegation at the company’s digital exhibition hall. During the meeting, Lila Mani Baudel, the Nepalese Ambassador to China, provided an overview of Nepal’s overall situation.
As one of the corporate representatives, my company was the first to speak. We briefed the delegation led by the Ambassador on our company’s business capabilities and key projects, and expressed our willingness to join the Guizhou business delegation on an in-depth fact-finding visit to Nepal, as well as our interest in exploring potential cooperation opportunities in Nepal. Other participating companies also shared with the Ambassador information about their respective technological capabilities and management practices.
Finally, Zhang Lin, Chairman of our company, stated that Guizhou’s development experience over the past few years—particularly in infrastructure construction—can serve as an excellent reference for Nepal’s development. Guizhou-based enterprises are well-positioned to offer effective solutions and, from both strategic and developmental perspectives, seek long-term cooperation, open up channels for multi-party collaboration, establish cooperative mechanisms, and strive to contribute Guizhou’s strength to Nepal’s development.
