The 2018 Bridge Development Science and Technology Innovation Conference and the Exhibition of Innovation Achievements Marking the 40th Anniversary of Reform and Opening-up were held in Shenzhen. Kan She Co., Ltd. showcased several world-leading bridge achievements at the event.

Recently, “ 2018 Bridge Development Science and Technology Innovation Conference & Reform and Opening-up 40 The “Anniversary Innovation Achievement Exhibition” was held in Shenzhen. The three-day event was co-organized by Bridge Magazine and Shenzhen Municipal Design Research Institute Co., Ltd. Our company was invited to participate in the conference and set up a booth on-site to showcase our corporate image. Mr. Yang Jian, Director of the Bridge Division of our company, attended the conference as a specially invited guest.

This meeting is hosted by 2018 Main Forum of the Bridge Development Science and Technology Innovation Conference and 7 The event consists of several specialized forums and highlights the conference theme—“Technological Achievements Drive Quality Engineering, and Innovation Fuels Bridge Development”—through activities such as academic symposiums, science and technology innovation competitions, and the annual awards ceremony honoring the Top Ten Individuals of the Year. The exhibition focuses on showcasing the achievements of reform and opening-up. 40 Over the past years, numerous enterprises and institutions in China have achieved remarkable accomplishments and are actively exploring future development prospects in fields such as bridge design, construction, materials, equipment, technology, and maintenance. Additionally, technical tour routes have been arranged to showcase the construction of the Shenzhen-Zhuhai Channel and the landscape bridge in the Shenzhen Qianhai Free Trade Zone.

Klaos, Gao Yaojun, Incoming President of the International Bridge Federation, and Chair of the Jury for the International Bridge Federation’s Outstanding Structural Award Naeem, Academician Zheng Jielian of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Academician Wang Jingquan of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Academician Yang Yongbin of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Academician Zhou Xuhong of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Academician Ou Jinping of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Academician Li Jiancheng of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Academician Du Yanliang of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Academician Chen Zhengqing of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Pang Song, Director of the Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Transport, and Li Yanwu, former Director of the Highway Bureau of the Ministry of Transport, among others.

Focusing on hot topics such as technological applications, the event sparked new insights through concentrated lectures and in-depth dialogues, paving the way for a new paradigm of intelligent bridge development and jointly creating a brighter future for bridges.
