To promote the development of a high-quality, professional team of transportation engineering and technical personnel in our province and further enhance the competence and quality of transportation professionals, the Guizhou Provincial Department of Transport recently held the 2020 Continuing Education Training Workshop for Transportation Engineering Professionals at Guizhou College of Transportation Technology. Su Long and Liu Zhiguo, two deputy general managers from Guizhou Hongxin Chuanda Engineering Testing & Consulting Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kan She Shares, were invited to serve as instructors for this training workshop.

The two instructors, drawing on Guizhou Province’s achievements in highway construction as well as the new trends and practical experiences in highway management and maintenance, delivered lectures on two specialized topics: “Key Points and New Requirements for the Maintenance of Mountainous Highway Bridges” and “New Requirements for Upgrading and Improving Highway Tunnels, along with Key Points for Their Maintenance and Management.” They provided detailed explanations on the current status and major challenges in the maintenance of highways, bridges, and tunnels; analyzed typical bridge defects and their underlying causes; and highlighted key aspects of the management and maintenance of mountainous highway bridges and tunnels. The two instructors, who were invited to deliver these lectures, demonstrated a strong sense of responsibility and a highly professional attitude, carefully preparing their materials and delivering their presentations with great dedication. Their efforts were unanimously praised by all the trainees.

This time, two colleagues from Hongxin Chuanda Company have been invited to serve as instructors in the provincial-level continuing education training course for transportation engineering professionals. This recognition of Hongxin Chuanda’s technical capabilities not only represents a significant milestone for the company but also provides an opportunity for it to summarize its technical achievements.
