On August 16, 2020, the “Never-Ending Digital Expo” 2020 series of events—featuring the forum “Discussing Data Security Governance Together and Co-creating the DSMM Industry Ecosystem”—was successfully held in Beijing. The event was organized by the Organizing Committee of the China International Big Data Industry Expo and hosted by the Guizhou Big Data Security Engineering Research Center and the National Engineering Laboratory for Collaborative Big Data Security Technologies. Guizhou Hongxinda High-Tech Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kan She Shares, was invited to attend this conference as one of the first enterprises certified under the “Data Security Capability Maturity Level 2” standard by the Guizhou Big Data Security Engineering Research Center.
The DSMM (Data Security Capability Maturity Model) is China’s first national standard for data security management. It is designed to assess an organization’s level of maturity in data security capabilities, helping industries, enterprises, and organizations identify their data security capability gaps. Relevant authorities can also use the model for data security management, determining the types and scope of data that enterprises are authorized to handle based on their respective data security capability levels. Ultimately, this will enhance the overall data security level and industry competitiveness of society, thereby ensuring the development of the big data industry and the digital economy.
