Recently, the Party Committee of the company held its 2020 democratic life meeting in the conference room on the 16th floor. The meeting was chaired by Jia Long, Secretary of the Party Committee, and attended by members of the Party Committee leadership team.

At the meeting, Jia Long, Secretary of the Party Committee, reported on the implementation of corrective measures adopted at the 2019 special organizational life meeting themed “Staying True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind.” On behalf of the Party Committee leadership team, he conducted a self-examination and made a thorough analysis of existing problems, identified their root causes, and proposed directions for further effort and specific corrective measures. Peng Jiao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, reported on the summary of opinions collected prior to the democratic life meeting and also carried out a serious self-examination. Other members of the leadership team then conducted their own self-checks in turn, engaging in earnest criticism and self-criticism.

The Party Committee of the company made thorough preparations for this democratic life meeting. Prior to the meeting, it meticulously carried out all necessary preparatory work in accordance with the requirements and arrangements of the Municipal Party Committee and the Party Working Committee of the High-tech Zone. In light of the theme of this democratic life meeting, the committee widely solicited opinions and suggestions from higher-level Party organizations, grassroots Party branches, and Party members and cadres regarding the Party Committee leadership team and its members. The committee also actively communicated with the Organization and Human Resources Department of the High-tech Zone to provide feedback on the preparation status of the meeting. During the meeting, participants engaged in serious self-criticism and criticism of others, courageously confronted problems head-on, deeply analyzed their root causes, and proposed concrete corrective measures. This further unified thinking, clarified direction, and rallied collective strength.

The Party Committee of the company emphasized that we must consistently use Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era to fortify our minds, continuously enhance our political discernment, political comprehension, and political execution capabilities, and take the lead in upholding the “Two Upholds.” We must also approach our own team-building with a strong sense of political responsibility. The next step is to further refine and improve the corrective measures, break down the tasks into specific actions, set clear deadlines for rectification, and assign explicit responsibilities for implementation—approaching the rectification and follow-up of the democratic life meetings with the spirit of driving nails home.
