On August 26, Li Yi, Director of the Grassroots Work Department and First-Level Researcher of the Guizhou Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, accompanied by Zhou Bixia, Vice Chairperson of the Guizhou Provincial Transportation Trade Union, Director of the Financial Review Committee, and Director of the Women’s Committee, visited our company to conduct a research and inspection on factory affairs transparency and democratic management. Jia Long, Secretary of the company’s Party Committee, and Peng Jiao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Trade Union, attended the research symposium.
Li Yi and his delegation first visited the company’s digital exhibition hall and the Employees’ Home (Party Building Activity Room), and then held a symposium in the 16th-floor conference room.
At the symposium, Jia Long, Secretary of the Party Committee, welcomed the arrival of the Provincial Federation of Trade Unions and gave a brief introduction to the company’s overall situation regarding its open and democratic management practices. Peng Jiao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairperson of the Trade Union, provided a detailed account of the mechanisms, forms, and channels employed by the company in carrying out its open and democratic management work, covering four key areas: "improving the mechanisms for open and democratic management," "actively promoting open and democratic management practices," "focusing on enhancing workers’ professional qualities," and "continuously building a 'Workers’ Home' that satisfies employees."
After listening to reports on the work situation and reviewing relevant union materials, Li Yi fully affirmed the company’s progress and effectiveness in implementing open and democratic management of factory affairs, and offered opinions and suggestions for further improving this work.
