Recently, the Highway Bureau of the Ministry of Transport issued the "Regarding Doing a Good Job of..." 2022 Notice on Preparatory Work for the Formulation and Revision of Annual Highway Engineering Industry Standards (Jiaogongbianzi) [2022] 37 The industry standard “Technical Specifications for the Application of Mechanically Produced Sand in Highway Construction,” led by our company, has successfully been approved for development. This marks the first time our company has taken on the role of chief editor for an industry standard issued by the Ministry of Transport.
The preparation of the "Technical Code for Application of Mechanically Produced Sand in Highway Engineering" will further promote the widespread adoption and application of the reliability theory underlying mechanically produced sand technology within the highway engineering industry. The code systematically specifies the raw materials, technical performance, mix design, construction procedures, as well as quality inspection and acceptance criteria for mechanically produced sand concrete and asphalt mixtures. This will enhance the scientific rigor of China's highway engineering structural design standards and advance the development of green transportation infrastructure projects.
