Smart Industry

Business Introduction

By integrating its talent and technological strengths in transportation engineering and information technology, the company focuses on the informatization and intelligent upgrading of transportation and urban infrastructure. Through innovations in theory, technology, products, and business models, it is vigorously developing its capabilities in “Smart +” and “Safety +” infrastructure design consulting and in translating these innovations into practical applications, thereby fostering a smart industry. The company is committed to becoming a leading provider of information and digitalization services for enterprises in the engineering sector. Offering comprehensive services via design consulting, solution research, independent product development, and integrated construction, the company has in recent years focused particularly on areas such as smart cities, smart transportation, integrated industry-finance smart enterprise management SaaS solutions, transportation big data, ETC gantry operations and maintenance for expressways, smart electromechanical systems, software design, and information system project management.

Currently, the company has established a number of national and provincial-level research platforms, including the National-Local Joint Engineering Laboratory for Mountain Transportation Disaster Prevention and Control Technologies, the Research and Development Center for Mountain Transportation Safety and Emergency Response Technologies, the Academician Workstation for Research and Development and Application of New Steel Structure Building Systems, the Postdoctoral Research Workstation, the Guizhou Province Transportation Construction Talent Base, the Guizhou Province Leading Innovative Enterprise, the Guizhou Province Technological Innovation Team for Karst and Disaster Prevention in Mountainous Expressways, the Guizhou Province Technological Innovation Team for Design of Large-Span Bridges, the Guizhou Province Engineering Technology Center for Mountain Geological Disaster Prevention and Control, the Industry R&D Center for Highway Transportation Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Technologies, the Guizhou Province Enterprise Technology Center, and the Guizhou Digital Transportation Research Institute.

By establishing an integrated air-space-ground monitoring and early-warning technology framework and developing a highway slope management system, we have deployed geological hazard monitoring systems along dozens of highways—including the Qingxing Expressway, Baidu Expressway, and Kaiyang Expressway within Guizhou Province, as well as the Yuchu Expressway in Yunnan Province and the Huaiyang Expressway in Guangdong Province—across both provincial and inter-provincial boundaries. These systems have been applied in multiple project areas, such as key slope monitoring for Moutai Group, and geological hazard monitoring on the right bank downstream of the Pingzhai Hydropower Hub on the Qing Shui River, providing detailed data support for optimizing site designs and ensuring safe operations, thereby reducing construction costs and enhancing project safety. The company has successively received numerous provincial and ministerial-level awards and has been continuously included in the Catalogue for Promotion of Scientific and Technological Achievements in Transportation Construction for several consecutive periods. We have developed an integrated geological radar detection vehicle system that combines video imaging, GPS, distance-measuring wheels, and other equipment; created a cloud-based parallel processing and analysis system for hidden roadbed defects; and formulated the enterprise standard "Technical Standard for Rapid Detection of Hidden Roadbed Defects." This standard has been demonstrated and applied across 136.2 kilometers of road sections, including the South Ring Road and Southwest Ring Road in Guiyang City, Guizhou Province, as well as 627 kilometers of road sections in cities such as Qingdao and Zhengzhou. Furthermore, the system has been put into production and applied to geotechnical risk management services for Phase I of Guiyang Metro Line 3. Through optimized design of monitoring parameter systems, lightweight BIM applications, cluster-based management of monitoring systems, development of integrated monitoring and operation platforms, and innovative data analysis and structural assessment methodologies, we have developed a structural health monitoring system for long-span bridges. This system has been applied to major bridges including the Huaxi No. 1 Bridge on the Guiyang South Ring Expressway (a 175-meter main-span steel tube concrete arch bridge), the Wujiang Bridge over Feilong Lake (a 680-meter main-span suspension bridge), the Liuchonghe Super Bridge on the Qianzhi Expressway (a 438-meter main-span concrete cable-stayed bridge), the Xiqian Liuganghe Super Bridge (a 580-meter main-span composite beam cable-stayed bridge), the Qing Shui River Super Bridge on the Jianrong Expressway (a 300-meter main-span composite beam cable-stayed bridge), and the Dafachu Super Bridge on the Renzun Expressway (a 410-meter main-span steel tube concrete arch bridge). In addition, our company has developed a series of smart infrastructure products, including traffic meteorological stations, intelligent fog-light guidance systems, automatic ice-spray systems, dynamic speed-limit warning systems, refined traffic-meteorological forecasting systems, tunnel environmental detectors, energy-saving lighting control systems, tunnel monitoring software, electromechanical operation and maintenance systems, and video-based visibility analysis and early-warning systems.
